How do we do that?

JohanAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08274717088538425802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161654137117620028.post-66616281136451014932009-07-14T19:21:12.988-07:002009-07-14T19:21:12.988-07:00Hi Deez,

I love the idea of a mariachi band. Kay and I once visited a San Antonio cemetery on an Easter Sunday, and that was something else. I could imagine a mariachi band there, but we were there early in the day. One of the more impressive parts was the many blocks worth of "cascarone" sellers leading up to the cemetery. Cascarones are hollowed out eggs, stuffed with confetti, sealed with a bit of colored paper, and then brilliantly painted. The custom is to smash them over each others head during the celebration. Sounds pretty pagan to me.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08274717088538425802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161654137117620028.post-58616040563883939392009-07-13T20:29:55.178-07:002009-07-13T20:29:55.178-07:00First save this pic...

Once you do you'll see an option to upload a pic as your banner. Choose the button "Instead of" as well. That should do it. It may need some resizing once it's up. Just leave it there and let me know if it does.Joe Dallmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04224079592917309659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161654137117620028.post-86628899491201309722009-07-13T11:59:17.056-07:002009-07-13T11:59:17.056-07:00We drove around in a local cemetery one Sunday tha...We drove around in a local cemetery one Sunday that happened to be Father's Day. Many Hispanic families were picnicing at their loved ones' graves - there was even a small mariachi band at one. Not so many decorated graves, but a wonderful, joyous atmosphere.crowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04395699046056304298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161654137117620028.post-28650937381564416732009-07-12T17:33:35.582-07:002009-07-12T17:33:35.582-07:00Thanks all,

Just got my computer back from the shop again today.

Anyway, what do I/you/we have to do to effect the transfer? This is way beyond my technical scope, so you'll have to lead me through. By the way, I prefer the one with the bullet holes.

And again, it's such an honor that you've done this for me. My humble thanks.

JohanAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08274717088538425802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6161654137117620028.post-85912780724940024912009-07-11T09:28:17.149-07:002009-07-11T09:28:17.149-07:00This was an awesome post with some great picture. ...This was an awesome post with some great picture. Now doubt my Mexican-American brethren know how to decorate. And some of them taco trucks make a mean taco. I always believe that if you're able to order in Spanish then your food is made better. I'm sure it's a myth but not one I want to test...lol.

I still have your banner ready when you're ready for it. Let me know.
